Q : Why should I book on www.diveabroad.com ?

Q : Are there any reviews about Dive Abroad online ?
A : Yes, of course but under the DIVE AND CRUISE Group, so you can find some reviews from Dive and Cruise Offical Facebook Page, and you can also find us on any popular social network applications like : Instagram, Twitter, Google +, Weibo. In addition, you can see some trip reviews written by us on our Blog Section. However, the best reviews you can read are the ones managed by a dedicated external platform : Trustist and from our 3 Google Dive and Cruise office (FR/ENG/CN).
Q : Where are your offices ?
A : We have regional offices in Hong Kong, Thailand, France. Our team is operating from different parts of the world to be 24hrs connected and answer your requests/questions. Our team members are mainly based in USA, France, Italy, Russia, China, Thailand.
Q : How can I contact you personally ?
A : You have different ways to contact us : live chat, application form, email, skype or any social network applications you can find in our contact page. To get to know us personally, you will have to be part of the cruise where some of our team members are participating to dive with us so contact us to know where we are going on cruise and try to arrange a meet up with our team members. We also have an answering machine working 24/24 that informs us straight away anywhere we are with your voice mails, so we can call you back shortly to have a proper conversation.
Q : Is part of your team always onboard with us ?
A : We would love to, but we can’t just dive all the time as the agency is giving us lots of work in trip preparation, customer services, online data update.
However, all of our team members from our accountant to our sales agents are participating in some dive liveaboard trips in different destinations every year. You can always ask us and join the trip where our team members are and dive with us. You can follow our newsletter and check our FACEBOOK page to know when & where our team is onboard.
Q : Can we make any dive courses with you ?
A : If you are onboard with us > Yes! As most of our team members are dive professionals, we can plan the course ahead and teach you onboard in person, depending the destination but most of the time we do teach AOWD / NITROX / DEEP Specialities.
If you are not onboard with us > Still Yes! Our dive instructor network can provide you an excellent dive instructor to teach you a dive course. You can do it during your liveaboard trip (depends on the location, some locations are not suitable for teaching), or study before or after your liveaboard trip at our selected trusting dive centers.
Q : What is the price meaning on your website ?
A : We display online the public price which are given by our partners in their respective currency and it’s our duties to try to keep the price always updated, but with our wide offers, it can happen sometimes that our price is not accurate and we indeed apologize for it.
One thing you can be sure about is that we will never over-charge you. In most of the cases, we can apply for you some discount in your packages, which include flights, hotels, transfers (provided by an external IATA agency), dive courses, diving resorts, liveaboard bookings, coupons for your next trip.
We are aware of all our partners’ special promotions, and we try the best we can to share these ones with you online with the ORANGE ARROW going down and also on our DiveAndCruise website in our Special Offer Section, and our agents will re-confirm if there is any special discount before they send you the invoice. If you find cheaper price with another agency, we will adjust ourselfs straight away or even be able to reduce our offers and beat it after verification.
Q : Can I get any discount ?
A : Yes. For a first time booking, discount may apply to a participant being : under 18 years old, dive professional and for group bookings ( Discount depending on the boat & package you selected ) or if you win a coupon on our partner’s website to be spent on www.diveabroad.com .
For our returning customers, we have a membership reward program offering 5% for your 2nd trip, 10% for your 3rd Trip within 12 months. You membership code is valid for you and your diver’s friend (up to 4 pax per booking)
Q : It’s my first time to travel on a liveaboard, any advice ?

Q : I have a dive club/dive centre, can I work with you ?
A : Yes. As we are an official and international Dive Liveaboard Agency, we are able to partner up with any dive clubs or dive centres worldwide under the agreement with our partners. We are able to answer all the questions, advise the planning and offer dive clubs/ dive centers a commission from our partners.
Q : What are the payment options ?
A : When you place a booking through www.diveabroad.com, the website is secure in HTTPS meaning all sensitive information is encrypted. So to be able to process your demand, our CREDIT CARD payment gateway will crypt and record your credit card information for 7 days. This gives us the time to contact the boat and verify the spaces you are requesting. Once confirmed by the boat, we come back to you with the confirmed price and all the details, after your approval we will inform the payment gateway to process the card. This is working the same way when you rent a car, money is blocked but not debited until you give us the FINAL OK to proceed. There are NO FEES retained if you place your booking and then decide to cancel it before approval.
We also have Paypal, Alipay, SEPA Bank transfer in our EU Company account or SWIFT Bank Transfer to our Hong Kong Companies, so you can decide and inform us to release your pre-payment if you prefer to proceed the payment with another method. NO FEES added for credit card payment and bank transfer.
We do accept payment in Crypto-Currency with an extra 6.5% (BTC / LTC / ETH accepted), the adress and amount will be given by email on demand and soon a dedicated page will be made for the Bitcoin and Altcoin. We are the 1st Diving Liveaboard broker accepting Crypto as we think the blockchain technology is the future of independent business, secure and cost effective.
